              circle03_green.gif   While the future of the Duty to Involve is not clear, citizen engagement through locality working is as important to the new Government as it was to the last.  Urban Forum's report, ‘Involving Communities: a Legal Duty?’, looks at the findings of surveys conducted among VCS organisations shortly after the Duty came into force in April 2009, as well as one year later. It analyses the Duty's successes and shortcomings in light of the new Big Society agenda.  www.urbanforum.org.uk
